William Dunn, Vice President of Cyber Operations
Mr. Dunn serves as the Vice President for Cyberspace Operations, managing personnel in Arkansas, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Mississippi and Virginia. His team is directly responsible for the operations of the Joint Cyberspace Operations Range (JCOR) and other DS3 simulator products and training ranges supporting current DoD contracts and future commercial enterprises. His team develops advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) simulator based scenarios and injects for Joint and Service exercises, curriculum for formal and tactical training, and provides engineering services and consulting to DoD and commercial organizations.
Mr. Dunn has over 27 years experience in cryptology, communications security, information assurance, communications operations, project management and joint planning. His 27 years of experience includes over 23 years in the United States Navy as a Cryptologist and Information Warfare Officer and 3 years of corporate experience. Mr. Dunn is the lead expert in Computer Network Operations (CNO) exercise plans in support of joint exercise planning and integrating Joint Information Operations Range (JIOR) into the Joint CyberSpace Operations Range to conduct CNO. Mr. Dunn’s education includes a Bachelor’s of Science in Network Architecture as well as many advanced cryptologic, management, project management and leadership training courses encompassing his career. Additionally, Mr. Dunn is a COPERNICUS award recipient where he was recognized by the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the U.S. Naval Institute for enhancing command-and-control processes and refining existing tactics, techniques, and procedures for all aspects of CNO.
