Bruce Szabo, Director, Southwest Region
Mr. Szabo plans, organizes, coordinates, controls and directs Information Assurance, network service activities and projects for the Southwest Region of the United States. He has over 34 years of experience in medical administration, systems, management, education and training. After completing a 30-year Air Force career, Mr. Szabo joined EADS NA Defense Security and Systems Solutions, Inc. where he has held positions as Manager of Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Services and Manager of Information Systems Security prior to assuming his current position. He is a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) and has extensive experience in providing and managing certification and accreditation (C&A) support services. He provides operational and project oversight, contract administration, and marketing and business development for the Southwest Region of the United States.
