Elston Obermann, Director, Global Operations

Mr. Obermann is the Director Global Operations & Defense, EADS North American Defense, Security and Systems Solutions, Inc. located at O'Fallon IL.

Mr Obermann graduated from Bethel College, McKenzie, Tennessee, in 1970 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Physical Education with emphasis in teaching in secondary education. He earned his master’s degree in Teleprocessing Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1986. Mr Obermann is a graduate from Squadron Officers School and completed Air Command and Staff College, National Security Management, and Air War College.

Mr Obermann began work with EADS North America Defense Security and Systems Solutions, Inc. in 2002 as Senior Exercise Planner for the Black Demon contract and assumed his currents duties as Director Global Operations & Defense in 2004. He directs and supervises a team of network engineers in designing, installing, and managing a range of network simulators in which network exercises are conducted to train and enhance AF network defender skills. He develops exercise plans and makes recommendations to all documents relating to the planning, execution and after-actions of computer network exercises for training and testing network management and computer network defense capabilities for the Air Force.
